As a mom, I’m incredibly grateful for the impact Because of Why has had on my 12-year-old son, Eric. Nick has personally worked with Eric through one-on-one coaching. What I appreciate the most is the energy and genuine care Nick brings when connecting with kids right where they are, with understanding, encouragement, and zero judgment.

I am so grateful for Nick and Carmen and Because of Why who created the Accelerator leadership mindset program for youth. Since enrolling, my teenage daughter has grown tremendously — from being introverted and shy to confidently networking and building her business with enthusiasm. Through their support and practical guidance, she developed strong interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills that have truly transformed her. The coaches create such a positive, empowering environment where teens feel motivated to step outside their comfort zones and believe in themselves. Genuinely thought there wouldn’t be something to encourage and help the youth til I got shown the Because Of Why accelerator program. Being excepted and becoming a participate in part of the program it changed my mindset, feelings, and my perceptive on the business world but in the best way possible. there is no place like home than being with Because Of Why especially that we have the best coach’s as in Coach Carmen and Coach Nick, to lead us to the right path, especially that Coach Carmen and Nick are the best people to be around with their encouraging and powerful energy, i’m glad i can build myself up without having to having to think twice of why because i always have Coach Carmen and Nick telling me why i should and why i can, it’s never a i can’t or wouldn’t be able to. Coach Nick and Coach Carmen are amazing people they have helped me in many different ways and i appreciate it tons they really are the best coaches out there you could find very supportive and always postive always telling me to keep going and try over and over again they are the best!

Nick and Carmen just wonderful are just wonderful. This team is not only a help to the community, but they are also a positive influence on our youth and the next generation. Nick and Carmen have come to impact my personal life as well. We’ve been able to collaborate on projects like BizBless and on personal projects too. My son had an ortho appointment yesterday that ran super late because the ortho was behind. When he was finally done he ran into the waiting room and said “Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!!! I have to get to my group.” I said - but you’re super late! You will only get to be there for like 15 mins!​​ He said - that’s ok mom… 15 mins is worth it. Please take me.

I had the opportunity to be on the Sunday morning call last week and presented Carmen and Nick with a hurdle I was trying to overcome with my emotional reactions and my son.
I’m very open when I going through something emotionally and I was afraid I was becoming a negative influence to my son because of my struggle with regulating my emotions consistently.
One of the things they suggested besides being open with how I’ve feeling and what I’m going through is to be clear about what I’m doing to resolve these emotions in the moment.
It never even occurred to me that I could turn those moments into learning coping mechanisms for him.
​Because Of Why has already been a turning point in becoming a strong parent… it just takes consistency, intention and time.

Having the honor of collaborating with Because of Why was such a genuine experience that we valued truly. Having our volunteers also work with them, we have heard nothing but good things from our volunteers with this experience and we could sincerely not have done it without Nick and Carmen's support and chance of opportunity! The experience of collaborating with them was extremely fun, helping the kids, teaching, and having fun nothing but enjoyable. Amazing job to both Nick and Carmen for making an open and welcoming environment to us, our volunteers, and of course the kids! You could tell the kids were genuinely enjoying their time while learning imperative skills that will help them throughout their future. Thank you, Because of Why team, for the opportunity!
