Mentorship
Volunteers will serve as role models, offering guidance and support to help kids navigate lesson and activities in the in person programs.
By sharing personal experiences and offering encouragement, they’ll inspire teens to build confidence, set goals, and work towards achieving them.
This personal connection is invaluable in helping kids develop self-belief and resilience.
Active Participation
Through hands-on participation in our coaching sessions, volunteers will engage kids in activities that foster personal growth.
Whether facilitating group discussions, guiding physical challenges, or assisting with educational exercises, volunteers play a key role in keeping kids involved and motivated.
Their presence helps create a supportive and dynamic environment that encourages active learning and growth.
Leadership Development
Volunteers will lead activities that promote leadership skills, such as decision-making, communication, and teamwork.
By encouraging kids to step up, take initiative, and problem-solve, volunteers help shape the next generation of leaders. These experiences allow teens to grow their confidence in taking on leadership roles in school, sports, and beyond.

Having the honor of collaborating with Because of Why was such a genuine experience that we valued truly. Having our volunteers also work with them, we have heard nothing but good things from our volunteers with this experience and we could sincerely not have done it without Nick and Carmen's support and chance of opportunity!
The experience of collaborating with them was extremely fun, helping the kids, teaching, and having fun nothing but enjoyable.
